• Who finds their career at age 16? Honestly, I was just looking for an after‐school job. I walked into a State Farm agent’s office in a small Northern California town, and a character of a man (think Johnny Cash) hired me on the spot. At the time, insurance was a completely foreign world to me. I was still a dependent and had never needed coverage of my own. Looking back, that early uncertainty shaped how I still work today. I remember how overwhelming insurance concepts can feel, which is why my team and I focus on explaining Auto Insurance, Home Insurance, and Life Insurance options in a way that actually makes sense. I always joke that you may not remember everything after our time together, but while you’re here, you’ll feel informed and confident enough to make decisions that fit you and your family. With State Farm on my résumé, I continued working as I moved to Chico, CA to attend college. Balancing work and school meant it took me twice as long to earn my degree, but the reward was paying my own way through college with no loans and no outside financial assistance. After graduating, State Farm hired me as a Claims Adjuster. Supporting customers in Butte County after significant losses to their homes was both challenging and incredibly rewarding. That experience continues to guide how my team and I support customers when the unexpected happens and recovery feels overwhelming. Following my claims experience, I was recruited onto a State Farm Management Team. In 1999, I was fortunate enough to be selected to open my own State Farm agency here in Chico, CA. Over the years, I’ve built an amazing team that truly shows up for the people we serve. They are caring, friendly, and professional, and they work hard to make every customer interaction meaningful. Our office at 1915 Esplanade, Chico, CA 95926 is designed to feel warm, welcoming, and efficient. Our customers are our friends and our responsibility, and we never take that lightly. We blend high‐tech tools with a very human approach because while insurance can feel like a commodity, the relationships behind it are not.
